The Unit Manager – Machine Room is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day operations within the Machine Room Center of Excellence (COE), functioning as the equivalent of a Plant Manager for that specific production area. The role ensures that safety, quality, schedule, and efficiency targets are met through disciplined execution of daily routines, effective leadership of personnel, and the sustainment of visual systems and flow strategies already implemented. This position plays a critical leadership role within the overall manufacturing operation. The Unit Manager translates COE-level strategy into daily execution and drives team performance, development, and accountability, using the Jasper Group Management System as the framework for leadership, accountability, and performance.
Experience:
3 to 5 years in manufacturing supervision, operations leadership, or unit-level management
Skills/Competencies:
Strong communicator, proven ability to lead and hold others accountable, understand metrics, and drive performance. Must be comfortable in cross-functional collaboration and capable of maintaining stability, execution discipline, and employee engagement.
