Responsibilities: - Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment and systems - Monitor and analyze wastewater samples to ensure compliance with regulatory standards - Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed - Operate heavy equipment such as pumps, valves, and motors - Use logic controllers to control and adjust wastewater treatment processes - Conduct basic mathematical calculations to determine chemical dosages and flow rates - Build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and supervisors
Qualifications:
- 2 years’ experience monitoring water/wastewater related processes and overseeing implementation of related procedures.
-Water and Wastewater D license preferred or ability to obtain within 6 months of joining
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, Email, Etc.)
-Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for equipment repair and maintenance - Experience operating heavy equipment is preferred - Basic math skills for calculations related to water treatment processes - ---Knowledge of wastewater treatment principles and practices is a plus - Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions based on findings
