Position Description:
JTEC Consulting is hiring an Oracle Database Administrator with Enterprise Manager (OEM) experience to work in support of a government program establishing and maintaining common services in a government cloud environment. This position requires experience to plan, design, implement, administer, operate and support technical Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions. Qualified candidates will have experience with Oracle DBA system operations and comprehensive experience working with Oracle Identity Management (OIM) architecture and integration with the E-Business Suite (EBS).
Duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide support for Oracle Identity Suite and integration with Oracle EBS applications and database
- Support installation, maintenance, securing, and performance tuning for Oracle Identity Suite
- Participate in database capacity planning related to database growth and system utilization, trend analysis and predicting future database resource requirements
- Provide pro-active and reactive performance analysis, troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning of EBS, SOA Application Servers in a mission critical environment
- Support Oracle RAC/Multitenant architecture
- Support OIM product suite
- Cloning of EBS systems and automation procedures
- Install, setup and maintain Enterprise Manager (OEM) Cloud Control 13c
- Provide setup and configuration of Dataguard
- Support migration methods using DataPump, PDB Cloning, CDB Cloning
Education and qualifications include (but are not limited to):
- U.S. citizenship; no dual citizenship
- Current secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline. Additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree will be considered.
- Current Security certification or industry recognized certification to meet DoD 8570 compliance required for consideration
- 8 years of related experience installing, maintaining, securing, and supporting performance tuning for Oracle Identity Suite including:
- Experience with Oracle DBA and systems operations supporting Oracle EBS
- Experience with Oracle Middleware
- Experience with OIAM implementations
- Experience with patch assessment
- Experience with OE Linux
- Experience with DBaaS in an OCI environment
- Experience with ExaCS in an OCI environment
Preferred experience includes:
Experience supporting security and data privacy standards and familiarity with U.S. government security hardening process is a plus
