What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entertainment/Sports Hotel Coordinator position at Juan and Only LLC?
Juan and Only LLC is searching for a bright, energetic and resourceful team player to join our team. This candidate will work directly with our Area Senior Manager on our Chicago Hotels we represent with focus on the Entertainment & Sports Market.
Entertainment/Sports Sales Coordinator Duties:
- Advance Artist, Bands, Individual, Production, TV and Sports Clients.
- Support Entertainment/Sports Hotel Sales (e.g., filing, sending emails, typing, copying).
- Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process (e.g., proposals, contracts, or banquet event orders and resumes).
- Gather materials and assemble information packages (e.g., brochures, sales trips, meetings etc.).
- Enter, retrieve, reconcile, and verify information (e.g., commissions, leads, third parties) in software involved in the process.
- Serve as the point of contact for clients and communicate with them by phone and email to respond to questions and requests.
- Work with hotel departments including Front desk, Housekeeping, Banquets, Restaurant & Sales
- On occasions, Attend events/concerts/games with our without Sales Manager/Director. Representative of Hotel & Juan and Only.
- Report directly to Area Entertainment/Sports Sales Manager/Director
- Demonstrated organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills: verbal, administrative writing and creative writing Ability to work independently, multi task/manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve results on deadlines
- Positive attitude, resourceful nature and excellent problem solving capabilities
- Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite ideal but not required
- Some night and weekend work may be required
- Work weekends and nights on occasions
- Must be 21 and Older
- Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Mathematical skills, including basic math
- Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
- Ability to travel including some overnight travel is required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.
- Carrying, lifting or pulling items weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Frequently handling objects and equipment.
