Description:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in software engineering with proficiency in Java and/or JavaScript, Spring Framework, GIT, and JIRA.
- Cloud Services: 2 years of experience in developing and deploying applications using native cloud services from Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or AWS.
- Technical Skills: 3 years working with technologies such as API Gateways and Azure Service Bus.
- API Development: 3 years of experience in designing, creating, and consuming REST APIs, with documentation using Swagger and OpenAPI specifications.
- Automation: Familiarity with automation technologies for testing, building, and deploying code (CI/CD).
- Data Security: Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with data security standards (HIPAA, PI, PCI).
- Communication: Strong communication skills for interaction with internal and external users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership: Manage API Gateway, Azure Service Bus, and Enterprise Patient Master Index functionalities.
- Best Practices: Lead the implementation of industry best practices to enhance the robustness, maintainability, and scalability of software applications and databases.
- Collaboration: Work closely with designers and product managers to refine the design and implementation of our products.
- Representation: Act as a representative for the team and product in cross-departmental initiatives involving diverse teams across the organization.
- Mentorship: Guide and mentor team members in software development principles, patterns, processes, and practices.
- Project Management: Oversee individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Quality Focus: Ensure high product quality and an excellent user experience.
- Support: Provide development support and resolve escalations and issues, including during off-hours.
