- Manage an average of 240 direct weekly hours of intensive ABA cases.
- Implement assessments for program placement and to measure progress of client goals.
- Create and implement customized behavior plans with ongoing data analysis to modify as necessary.
- Facilitate parent meetings/ parent training to ensure consistency between the home and clinic.
- Collaborate with multiple professionals to ensure consistency and quality of care.
- Attend periodic community outings with families to foster generalization of skills.
- Stay current with research and new methodologies.
- Development of curriculum needed to optimize effective teaching strategies.
- Directly supervises, support, and evaluates SBT’s and behavior technicians.
- Participate in new hire trainings and development of new skills in current Behavior Technicians.
- Communicate effectively with supervisor, parents, teachers, and individuals in other departments.
- Manage Behavior Technicians’ performance, particularly around case management and interactions with clients and parents of clients.
- Supervise 2-3 graduate students seeking BCBA certification.
- Appropriate and thorough documentation of services provided in E Heart and other operating systems (ODIN, Focus, CRCT). Including writing reports and collaborating with payors to maintain authorizations
- Manage general organization, including scheduling, for the team they are assigned.
- Lead team meeting with Behavior Technician with effective agenda and monthly refresher trainings.
- Follow Judson Center Policies and Procedures and remain knowledgeable regarding updates in those areas.
- Participate in required trainings.
- Attend all scheduled team meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Ability to maintain caseload of billable hours and expectations
- Demonstrate working knowledge of behavior assessments and interventions with individuals with ASD
- A fun and compassionate disposition with an open mind geared toward learning
- Managerial experience is a plus, but not required
- Willingness to lead with a positive attitude in time of stress
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Ability to program for children and teenagers of various developmental levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with parents, team members, and any other collaborators
- Professional presentation of self and company
- Must be able to communicate expressively and receptively in order to follow through with individualized behavior plan, emergency procedures, and report on activities
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with individuals with an ASD
- At least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation, and treatment of children with ASD
- Ability to provide culturally competent services that shows sensitivity to the service population’s cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
- Hold a minimum of a master’s degree from a BACB approved degree category from an accredited institution
- Valid Michigan Driver’s License, appropriate insurance and use of own vehicle.

- Includes working with clients who may demonstrate challenging behavior including: aggression, self-injury, and environmental destruction.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently and lift up to 50 pounds infrequently
- Must be able to react and move quickly to respond to impulsive movement of clients (children and teenagers with autism)
- Must be able to walk and stand approximately 75% of the work day
- Must be able to bend, kneel, squat, crawl, pivot, and sit on floor throughout the work day
- Must be able to run or quickly move short distances (up to100 feet) to catch or block clients (children and teenagers with autism)
- Must be able to use physical management techniques, including single or two person restraints, to help manage behavior of clients (children and teenagers with autism)
Salary : $48,300 - $61,200
