Judson Group has been retained by a successful financial firm located in New Haven, Connecticut in the search for a Senior Financial Planner – CFP. This individual will be a key member of the firm’s planning team, focused on financial planning responsibilities and overseeing the production of wealth planning deliverables for clients. The ideal candidate will have experience leading planning efforts for HNW clients.


This is a fantastic role for someone looking to impact clients through detailed financial planning, working alongside advisors that lead client relationships.


Responsibilities:

  • Work with various financial planning team members to understand client goals.
  • Analyze client data to understand trends and develop and assist in preparation of financial plans and recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepare wealth planning deliverables, including proactive, high impact planning solutions with the supervision of a planning team leader.
  • Help clients implement their plans and conduct transactions.
  • Lead complex client meetings.
  • Lead clients through routine reviews.
  • Assign projects to Financial Planning Analysts and Associate Financial Planners.
  • Prepare in accurate and timely fashion, documents and reports needed for planning solutions.
  • Adhere to all aspects of oversight, risk, and compliance.
  • Support Lead Advisors/Managing Directors and Principals/Partners in their marketing and business efforts.


Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree.
  • CFP required.
  • 3-7 years of wealth management/planning experience.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning concepts.
  • Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
