What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ecommerce Merchandising Specialist position at Juliska?
Reporting to our Senior Ecommerce Manager, this is a pivotal role working on a dynamic ecommerce team, employing the latest best practices, displaying strong attention to detail and requiring a candidate skilled in the technical side of site improvements. They understand the power of data and are well-versed in Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics to understand KPIs. This position ensures the Juliska, and Capucine de Wulf product catalogs are current and maintained accurately on the websites. They are enthusiastic, intelligent and a team player looking to help build world-class ecommerce experiences.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for product uploads to websites including descriptions, tagging on Shopify, alt images and checking for accuracy.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure products are in stock and available inventories are correct.
- Assist in maintaining site calendars to ensure timely uploads of new products and featured collections.
- Partner with our development agency to report site issues and plan site enhancements.
- Ensure all website apps are updated, maintained, and operating correctly.
- Assist in SEO & ADA strategies and initiatives by ensuring sites are properly optimized for search engine success and follow ADA requirements.
- Analyzes the customer experience on the website through online monitoring tools and makes suggestions to optimize conversion rates.
- Other projects as assigned to increase the division’s productivity.
Requirements
- 1-3 years Ecommerce experience
- Experience with Shopify Plus (Amazon Seller Central a plus)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel skills
- Basic understanding of merchandising principles
- Self-starter with strong strategic, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to working with shared leadership and in cross-functional teams.
