What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Crisis Liaison position at Juneau County (WI)?
· Positions Within the Juneau County Jail, Non-Clinical Position
· Grant Funded Position
· Jail Certified Applicant preferred but not mandatory
· Assessment of SUD/MI Needs upon Intake and Booking within the Jail
· Assessment for withdrawal, suicide, substance use disorder, mental health, victimization
· Confirm all Booking Data is correct and up to date for data collection
· Collect Data upon Intake to determine immediate needs for withdrawal, mental health
· Follow protocols from medical to assist with withdrawal from SUD
· Follow up on offenders who leave the facility and have LE Contact
· Collaborate with mental health professionals, case managers and law enforcement
· Promote strategies to identify disorders for those resistant to services
· Promote SUD, MI and CMISU understanding to Law Enforcement
· Attend Trainings for CIT (Crisis Intervention Training) and other appropriate training
· Responsible to meet with Grant Administrator, Case Management and Mental Health to review effectiveness of program and data collection for grant purposes
· Work with Case Manager, Medical and Therapist to assist clients with access to resources
· Other duties as assigned
Bachelors Degree preferred but not requiredJail Certification preferred but not required
Must possess a valid Wisconsin Drivers License
