Primary Objective of Position
Bussers are responsible for serving food to customers, clearing tables and other areas, supporting kitchen staff as needed.
Essential Job Duties
- Delivering food to customers at the proper table in an quickly efficiently, professional and knowledgeable manner
- Answer any customer questions and have complete knowledge of menu and other services
- greet and interact with customers, be attentive to customers needs
- Provide excellent customer service
- Ensure all dining and service areas including tables, chairs, counters, utensils cabinets, and storage areas are clean, orderly, and comply with established sanitation standards
- Re-stock and wipe down tables, chairs
- Assist servers
- Clear and clean tables and bring all dirty dishes and utensils to kitchen
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
Restaurant and/or bar experience preferred
