Position Summary Information
Key Responsibilities
The Science in Motion outreach program at Juniata College is seeking an Outreach Equipment Courier. Responsibilities include coordinating and implementing current outreach program deliveries, working collaboratively with Outreach Coordinators outlook calendars to manage and create drop-off and pick-up schedules utilizing Microsoft Excel, communicate with teachers during deliveries for quality control check and balances, and purchase special lab supplies needed for deliveries. Additional responsibilities may include (and not be limited to): on-campus mail collection, outreach initiatives advertisement distribution, creating a participating school calendar of closings and end of program cleaning of SIM vehicles.

The Outreach Equipment Courier is a full-time time 10-month position (September 01- June 30) with benefits and annual renewal based upon performance and funding.

Position Qualifications
Supervision Required/Given
The Outreach Equipment Courier reports directly to the Outreach Director who oversees outreach programs and activities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with an outreach program and following driving directions, willingness to learn to identify scientific equipment to be delivered, moderate Microsoft Excel spread sheet skills. 1-3 years delivery experience preferred.
Physical Demands
The successful candidate must have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maintain continual physical activity: unload and reload vehicle, push/pull loaded carts.
