At Junior Chefs Kitchen, we empower children with essential cooking skills and healthy eating habits that benefit them, the planet, and our community. We offer fun, hands-on 60-minute weekly classes, birthday parties, summer camps, and after-school programs.
We’re looking for energetic, friendly, and professional individuals who are passionate about cooking and teaching kids. As a team member, you’ll be an ambassador for our brand, sharing your excitement about food and nutrition with our young chefs!
What You'll Do:
- Lead and prepare food items following our recipes with attention to detail for After School Programs (shifts typically are from 2:30-5:30 Mon - Thurs) and Weekend Birthday Parties (with tips!!).
- Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain the cleanliness of our studio.
- Act as a brand ambassador, sharing knowledge about our programs and offerings.
- Travel to nearby schools for after-school programs.
- Maintain allergen awareness and food safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Applicants with a car are strongly encouraged to apply.
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience working with children and in food service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with kids and families.
- A team player who can multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility with working hours, including weekends.
