**Manufacturing Process Engineer II**

Job Location: Logan, UT the incumbent must be able to work onsite and at the manufacturing facility.

**Job Summary**

Responsible for evaluating manufacturing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to reduce cost, improve sustainability and develop best practices within the production line process.

**Job Duties and Responsibilities**

• Provides support and input as a member of the Manufacturing Support Group
• Determines and implements timely solutions for Sustaining ECOs on company products
• Works in conjunction with manufacturing supervisor as well as manufacturing assemblers/testers to determine necessary changes to assembly procedures
• Develop and maintain routes, processes, and work instructions
• Trains manufacturing personnel on new or changed processes
• Performs and implements product and process improvement to reduce waste of materials and utilities, improve efficiency, improve quality, and reduce variability
• Review assembly operations, component designs, and corresponding details to verify manufacturing processes.
• Works in conjunction with Design Engineers to develop routes and work instructions for new products.
• Interface with peers, suppliers, and industry organizations to research and develop new process designs and technology concepts.
• Assist in development, Implementation and maintenance of automation solutions for released and in development products. This includes working with outside consultants when needed to identify areas for automation.
• Interface with peers, suppliers, and industry organizations to research and develop new process designs and technology concepts.
• Help train and mentor Process Engineer 1's
• Other duties as assigned.
