About us
Just Like You is a new, up and coming mental health agency in the Hampton Roads area that offers mental health skill building services. We work with adults (18 ) who are diagnosed with mental illnesses. Our goal is to enhance their lives by teaching them life skills that will foster their independence in the community. By creating a healthy, professional sense of trust, we are able to show our clients that we are human, just like them, and they are capable of whatever they put their minds to.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate individualized service plan (ISP) for clients
- Teach clients necessary life skills including but not limited to cooking, cleaning, appointment management, social skills, emotional skills, etc
- Develop and coordinate quarterly reports for clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or a related field
-Registered with the board of counseling as a QMHP-A or QMHP-T.
- Experience working with adults with mental health disorders or special needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
