FiMile is fast-growing logistics providers, specializing in last-mile delivery and Less Than Truckload (LTL) services for both B2B and B2C customers. Responsibilities
- Build and maintain relationships with key B2B and B2C customers, ensuring their freight needs are met with customized solutions.
- Generate new business for 2B and 2C LTL services by prospecting, identifying opportunities, and closing deals in the US market.
- Identify new sales opportunities through networking, referrals, and market research.
- Leverage an existing book of business to drive immediate results. Cultivate new relationships with clients in the eCommerce, retail, and logistics sectors.
- Collaborate with dispatching and operations teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to closing deals.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
- Conduct market research to identify customer needs and trends, offering insights into service improvements and new opportunities for the company.
- Meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, while regularly reporting on sales performance and pipeline.
Skills
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in freight sales, with a strong focus on LTL services (B2B and B2C).
- Existing relationships and a book of business are highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of the LTL market, with experience selling logistics solutions to both business and consumer customers.
- Excellent negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a proven ability to close deals and develop long-term relationships.
- Experience in inside sales or sales management is preferred.
- Candidates with experience in freight brokerage will also be considered.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.
- A self-starter with a strong work ethic, capable of working independently while collaborating with the broader team.
