The HR Assistant supports the HR Manager with employee record keeping, recruitment, and on/offboarding of talent at K-Five Construction.
Duties and responsibilities
- Enter, track and update all employee information into multiple software systems
- Initiate recruiting processes by posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling, and conducting phone interviews.
- Lead the onboarding process by communicating with new hires, preparing all related paperwork, and conducting the onboarding meetings
- Review and track all employee benefits including 401k, health, dental, LT disability and supplemental programs
- Maintain the HRIS portal
- Assist with new hire and annual open enrollment for all benefit offerings
- Prepare and maintain offboarding processes and paperwork
- Any additional tasks or duties assigned
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate has 1 to 3 years of relevant human resources experience
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, or comparable combination of education and experience
- Exceptional attention to detail; high value on confidentiality, integrity and ethics
- Ability to manage workflow of seasonal increase in employees and required deadlines and requirements
- Strong level of knowledge in Microsoft Office products
- Professional, positive and supportive demeanor
- Ability to tactfully interact with all levels within the organization
Salary : $42,800 - $54,200
