We are seeking an IT Developer to join our team!  

Job Summary:

The position of IT Developer reports directly to the Development Manager. Primary responsibilities include working with the development team, management, and users to research company processes and develop software to improve those processes; use PHP to develop both customer facing and internal websites; maintain existing software; help test, review, document, and support all development projects. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Maintaining and support existing internal and customer facing websites.
2. Work with the development team, learn company processes and help develop and test solutions to improve those processes.
3. Suggesting new and improved technologies or infrastructures to continue to improve the company.
4. Assist other developers in development, maintenance, and testing.
5. Maintain legacy software solutions. 
6. Be courteous towards others within the department, other employees within the company, and customers.
7. Perform other duties as appropriate and assigned.
8. Support company goals and uphold K&M Values.
9. Develop, maintain, test, document, and support both customer facing and internal websites. (II)
10. Work with the development team, Management, and Users to develop software to improve processes within the company. (II) 
11. Support development projects including assisting customers with website and software related issues. (II)
12. Keep organized and detailed documentation of all programming tasks and help maintain documentation of different aspects of the department for ease and speed of fixing problems as well as training new employees. (II)
13. Train other developers and users on new and existing software. (III)

Requirements

Job Requirements:

1. To be knowledgeable and understanding of Database Relations and Programming logic/flow.
2. To be knowledgeable in SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
3. To be knowledgeable in PHP, JavaScript, jQuery, and Ajax. 
   1. Experience with Twitter Bootstrap, RPGLE, and DB2 are a plus.
4. Mobile development iOS / Android development experience is a plus
5. The ability to have a high level of confidentiality with information and conversations.
6. To possess and have the ability to relay a friendly, helpful and positive attitude.
7. To have excellent organizational skills and to be able to prioritize tasks.
8. To be able to work in a multi-tasking environment.
9. To be service oriented with excellent communication skills.
10. To work in a professional manner.
11. Must be willing to work within the standards already developed by K&M Tire.
12. Must have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
13. Must be willing and able to work after normal business hours or weekends.
14. Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.

IT Developer I Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree preferred

IT Developer II Minimum Qualifications:

3 years of programming experience

IT Developer III Minimum Qualifications:

5 years of programming experience 

SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday; 8am - 4:30pm
