The Iron Oaks is a small lounge and taproom mixed with an upscale cocktail and wine lounge. Something for families to meet up at, friends can grab a drink together, or you can just take a moment to unwind from your day. Now we’ve upped the experience with a small kitchen to provide a rotating menu, and tucked away in the back you’ll find two high end GolfZon virtual golf simulators.
Requirements:
- Honest and professional
- 21 or older
- 4 years in the service industry
- 1 years bartending experience
- Ability to foster an atmosphere that is hospitable and fun
- Knowledge of basic cocktails, spirits, beer, wine
Preferred:
- Coffee / Barista training and experience
- ABC/ALE training program certifications
- Familiarity with downtown Raleigh bars, restaurants, and social events
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Base hourly tips for all bartending shifts
Compensation for all bartenders and bar managers is based upon experience, but will be set as a base hourly pay between $5 and $15 per hour with tips accrued per shift ($15 - $25 per hour is expected as all in hourly earnings)
Bartender Job Description:
- Create and maintain a curated experience for all customers.
- Serve all food and beverages in accordance with company standards, and local state federal regulations.
- Understanding and adherence to professional & courteous atmosphere and culture
- Complete transactions accurately, maintain receipts as needed, ensure proper cash handling protocols
- Be an ambassador for the brand as you are the first point of contact to new guests, and current members
- Fully understand and execute the brand scope and be able to relate and answer all guest inquiries
- Oversee all scopes of the Hospitality Department
- Maintain all cleaning, organizing and bar maintenance as needed and in line with all company operating procedures
- Conduct stocking and product maintenance throughout shift as required
- Assist with facility duties as needed, or during downtime
- Lift, move and handle 30 pounds, items ranging from cases, kegs, and other common bar equipment.
- Other items will be added to primary duties as the establishment grows
