K&R Glowing Pride Residential Services, LLC

Schedule: Full-Time
Compensation: Competitive (based on experience) performance incentives (if applicable)
Job Summary
K&R Glowing Pride Residential Services, LLC is seeking a highly organized, decisive, and experienced Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day operations across our healthcare service lines. This role requires a true operational leader — someone who can run systems, lead teams, enforce compliance, and make independent decisions to keep the organization moving forward.
This is not an assistant position. The Director of Operations must be able to work independently, take ownership, and execute. You must be comfortable being held accountable for results.
Core Responsibilities1) Operations Leadership & Daily Execution
- Lead daily operations across departments to ensure services run smoothly and efficiently
- Build, improve, and enforce operational workflows (intake, onboarding, scheduling, documentation, audits)
- Identify operational gaps and fix them without waiting for direction
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, performance, and accountability across the organization
- Ensure internal communication is clear, timely, and documented
2) Team Leadership & Staff Performance Management
- Lead cross-functional teams (administration, scheduling, HR/onboarding, field staff coordination)
- Assign roles, clarify responsibilities, and hold staff accountable to deadlines and performance standards
- Identify staffing needs and recommend/assist with hiring decisions
- Train, coach, correct, and support team members through clear expectations and measurable performance goals
- Address performance issues quickly and professionally (documentation, attendance, professionalism, compliance)
3) Compliance & Risk Management (Medicaid HIPAA)
- Ensure full compliance with Medicaid waiver program requirements, EVV rules, documentation standards, and agency policies
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and ensure staff understand confidentiality requirements
- Monitor compliance status and quickly correct issues to prevent funding delays, audit failures, or enforcement action
- Support incident reporting, corrective actions, and compliance documentation with a “no excuses” mindset
- Ensure documentation systems are audit-ready at all times
4) Process Improvement & Systems Building
- Create and improve systems to reduce errors, strengthen productivity, and prevent compliance breakdowns
- Implement best practices (SOPs, checklists, trackers, dashboards)
- Standardize onboarding, training verification, credential tracking, and file compliance
- Improve scheduling efficiency and reduce missed shifts, coverage problems, and staff noncompliance
- Maintain organization-wide structure and file control (staff files, training records, reporting logs)
5) Project Management & Business Growth Support
- Lead internal projects from planning through execution (policy rollouts, training launches, compliance programs)
- Coordinate with leadership to support business development initiatives and operational expansion
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report progress to leadership
- Manage vendor relations, contract administration, and operational purchasing decisions as needed
Decision-Making Authority (IMPORTANT)
This role requires a Director who can:
- Make operational decisions without waiting for owner approval
- Take initiative and solve problems in real time
- Escalate critical issues appropriately, but not rely on leadership for basic execution
If you need step-by-step instructions to complete daily responsibilities, this will not be a good fit.
Required Qualifications
- College experience required (Associate or Bachelor’s preferred — Healthcare Administration, Business, HR, Operations, or related field)
- Leadership experience required (operations, healthcare, staffing, or service-based business preferred)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Medicaid waiver operations (preferred)
- EVV compliance (preferred)
- HIPAA rules and privacy procedures
- Excellent computer skills:
- Email, Excel/Google Sheets, document management, reporting systems
- Ability to learn new platforms quickly
- Strong writing and communication skills (professional email, documentation, internal memos)
- Highly organized — able to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, and moving parts
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel locally as needed

The ideal candidate must be:
- Extremely reliable and consistent
- Calm under pressure
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Confident and professional
- Able to lead with firmness and respect
- Comfortable enforcing standards (able to be professionally direct — not emotional)
- Able to communicate with tact, diplomacy, and measured assertiveness
- Strong judgment and decision-making ability
What Success Looks Like (90-Day Goals)
Within the first 90 days, the Director of Operations should be able to:
