Your role in our team
- You will verify electrical schematics
- You will ensure the proper assembly and wiring of electrical panels
- You will power up and configure controls components
- You will assist with electrical troubleshooting during machine power up and debugging
- You will troubleshoot the PLC program using Rockwell Studio 5000 software
- You will verify correct operation of the machine, testing I/O and alarm functionality
- You will validate the machine electrical system in preparation for factory acceptance testing (FAT)
- You will travel to the customer’s facility for machine integration and site acceptance testing (SAT)
- You will travel to the customer’s facility to complete service on installed equipment
- You will communicate and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
- You will maintain a clean and safe work area
- You will show a strong eagerness to learn and a positive attitude everyday
- You will work on special projects as needed
- You will take responsibility across divisions for assigned tasks and topics
Your profile
- You hace an associates degree in Electrical Technology; Industrial Automation; Mechatronics Technology or related field required or equivalent experience
- You have experience within the automation industry or a manufacturing environment is preferred
- You have the ability to use electrical test equipment and hand tool
- You have the proficient ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- You have knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- You have the ability to troubleshoot PLC ladder logic programming is preferred
- You have the ability to travel to customer sites
