Your role in our team
- You will apply electrical engineering, automation, and controls skills to automate equipment that is installed on a production line
- You will develop PLC programs using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software or B&R Automation Studio
- You will design an operator interface using Allen Bradley FTView Studio ME software
- You will define machine processes with support from mechanical engineering
- You will review the safety circuit design and complete machine safety system programming
- You will provide suggestions for design improvements or changes during all phases of machine design
- You will integrate third party equipment into machine functions
- You will debug and prepare the machine for factory acceptance testing (FAT)
- You will review the operating manuals prepared by the technical writer
- You will travel to the customer’s facility for machine integration and site acceptance testing (SAT)
- You will communicate and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
Your profile
- Your B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent is required
- Your experience with products from Allen Bradley, B&R, and Fanuc is preferred
- Your experience with other programming languages is a plus (Python, Java)
- Your experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- You are able to travel up to 25%
