IT Technician

K2United is now hiring a full-time IT Technician to join our team and provide technical support services to our employees. As an entry-level position, we are seeking an individual with an equal passion for computer systems and helping people.

You are passionate about delivering top-notch service and are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction at every interaction. If you have a proven track record of success in the help desk field and are a reliable and trusted resource for resolving IT issues, we encourage you to join our team.  If you're the right person, you will resonate with:  

• Exhibiting patience and sincerity when dealing with user inquiries and issues. 
• Communicating technical information clearly to non-technical clients while identifying the root issue and explaining its solution. 
• Diagnosing identified issues and promptly resolving them with long-term solutions in place.
• Obtaining and maintaining Microsoft and third-party certifications appropriate for technologies used. 
• Coordinating with other departments to streamline user onboarding/offboarding and job change processes.
• Using a variety of web browsers and email clients proficiently.
• Possess good organizational skills, maintain a team player mindset, and take initiative in your work.

Your Impact:

• Primary resource anticipating, servicing, and resolving user technology needs.
• Securing and maintaining workstation hardware and software to optimize performance and minimize user downtime.
• Providing lifecycle management of user accounts with correct permissions and privileges to maximize user productivity while maintaining security .
• Operating IT goods and servicing pipelines at the speed business requires. 
• Securing and maintaining connected devices operating within the K2 environment. 

Salary: $40,000

Requirements

• Previous work experience providing software and/or Internet tech support by phone.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)

Education: High School Diploma or GED  

Physical Demands: The physical demands listed below are required to perform the essential functions of this job. An employee in this role must remain in a stationary position 75% of the time and will occasionally need to move about inside the office to access file cabinets and office machinery. This position requires constant operation of a computer. The employee must frequently communicate and exchange accurate information. 

Work Environment: This job will operate in a well-lit and temperature-controlled office environment. In this role, there will be standard office equipment such as phones, computers, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. A designated space and desk setup will be provided.
