What are the responsibilities and job description for the Southeast - Building Materials Territory Sales Rep position at K44 Consulting LLC?
Our client is looking for a Territory Sales Manager (TSM) to cover their Southeast Territory. They are a reputable US company that manufactures a commercial exterior building material product.
Territory includes: Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee
Candidate needs to live within 100 miles of Jacksonville, FL
The primary function will be to bring in new business by calling on commercial and industrial GC’s as well as calling on architects to get products specified (by doing AIA presentations). TSM’s handle entire sales cycle from finding/meeting clients, takeoff of project, send estimate of cost, prepare agreement, close sale, place order, follow up after delivery.
Requirements:
• 2-10 years outside sales experience.
• A road warrior who thrives at being on the road and in the field, face-to-face with clients.
• Have sold exterior building envelope products.
• Must know how to read blueprints.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time within assigned territory.
• Clean and valid driver's license.
Preferred Requirements:
• Has a book of business with commercial GC’s & architects.
• Has done takeoffs & prepared estimates.
• Has performed AIA presentations.
• College degree in architectural, construction management, or similar type of degree.
The company offers a base salary, uncapped commission potential (paid out quarterly), car allowance, cell phone allowance, paid time off and medical benefits.
