Job Overview:
As an Assistant Property Manager, you will work closely with the Property Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the property. You will be responsible for overseeing leasing activities, resident relations, and general property management tasks. Your ability to build rapport with students, provide excellent customer service, and manage administrative duties will contribute to the overall success of the community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Property Manager with daily operations of the student housing community
- Coordinate and manage leasing efforts, including conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
- Address and resolve resident inquiries, complaints, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally
- Assist with move-ins and move-outs, ensuring a smooth transition for residents
- Maintain accurate records of leasing, occupancy, and financial transactions
- Help manage vendor relationships and oversee property maintenance and repairs
- Plan and execute community events and activities to engage residents
- Enforce community policies, rules, and regulations to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
- Support marketing efforts, including social media and outreach campaigns, to attract
- potential residents
- Perform inspections of units and common areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
- 2 years of experience in property management, leasing, or related field - student housing experience a PLUS
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in property management software - Entrata is a PLUS
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
