Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP)

Location : Mission Hills, CA

Setting : Clinic

Term : 6 months with option to extend

Shift Schedule : 2x10 Hour days per week - ideally Wednesday and Friday 8 : 30a-7 : 00p

Pay Rate : $120-$125 / hr

A clinic in Mission Hills, CA is looking for Pediatric Nurse Practitioners to provide additional coverage for increased patient load. Providers will see a mix of baby and child visits and immunizations. Providers will also be conducting physicals for healthy 9-12-year-olds.

Qualifications of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) :

  • Active California Nurse Practitioner License
  • Active BLS certification
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • COVID vaccine and one booster required
  • 1-year pediatric experience within the last 2 years required

    • Duties / Responsibilities of Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) :

  • Conduct physical exams, record medical histories, and perform diagnostic tests.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses and injuries.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Administer vaccinations.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate patient records.
  • Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient progress.
