As a CNC Operator at our air compressor manufacturing facility in Loxley, Alabama you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and accurate production of our high-quality rotary screw products. You will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret technical drawings will be essential in producing parts that meet our strict quality standards. You will work closely with our production team to ensure that all orders are completed on time and to the required specifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 2 years of experience operating CNC machines, over 3 years of experience is a plus!
- Experience with CMC Horizontal milling machines.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude and good math skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with precision measuring tools
- Associate's degree in machining or related field
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, and cutting
- Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with production team to ensure orders are completed on time and to specifications
- Perform routine maintenance on machines as needed

1st shift - Monday through Friday from 6 am - 5 pm (2 hours of OT daily which is paid out as time and a half.) Weekends or extra hours are rare and only occur if a special project is underway.
