Trappers Turn Food & Beverage Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Food & Beverage Manager. In this role, you will assist the Food & Beverage Director with all food and beverage operations and activities at Trappers Turn Golf Club and implement the policies established by the owners and management. You’ll also be responsible for assisting with promoting the food and beverage business and fostering hospitality, friendliness, and goodwill among all guests and associates.
As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure guests enjoy a seamless, high-quality dining experience by overseeing menu execution, service standards, and staff performance, creating a welcoming and efficient environment on the course. By training and supporting associates, helping manage operations, and maintaining consistent service excellence, you’ll directly enhance both guest satisfaction and team engagement.
$65,000-$75,000 with an expected earned gratuity of $10,000-$30,000.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of the golf course F&B outlet, including staffing, scheduling, inventory, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain high service standards, monitor food quality, and address guest feedback to create a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
- Recruit, train, and coach team members on service procedures, operational standards, and company policies to maximize performance and engagement.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, track sales, and manage inventory to optimize profitability and reduce waste.
- Work closely with culinary, golf, and resort management teams to coordinate events, promotions, and special services that enhance the overall guest experience.
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of food, beverage, restaurant, managerial, and supervisory experience within a golf dining facility, large hotel, and/or resort environment are required.
- Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
- Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates and corporate executives of the Resort is a must.
- Must be certified in SERV Safe.
- Bilingual skills are preferred but not required.
