This position will be ~8-10 hours per week as needed. $750 per month

Part-Time Labor

Kalamazoo Storage Center is currently looking to hire an individual to perform a variety of tasks to help with the appearance and maintenance of the facilities. The ideal candidate will be one who pays close attention to details and likes to be hands on. One who is friendly, has good communication skills, and likes to be helpful. We are looking for someone with integrity and a positive attitude. Ultimately you will be working directly with the Site Coordinator to help ensure that everything on the grounds is clean and in working order. A flexible schedule and eagerness to work are a must.

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Visit the Facility every week and inspect the buildings and grounds
• Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained
• Respond to repair and maintenance requests in a timely fashion
• Check overhead doors and service when needed
• Clean storage units after tenants move-out
• Complete task lists sent to you each week by your Site Coordinator
• Read and follow manuals and other written instructions
• Maintain receipts for company purchases
• Use equipment, including power tools and hand tools safely
• Collaborate with contractors as needed
• Inspect gutters, and make sure no obstructions are present
• Inspect lights, and make sure all are in working order
• Assist with larger repairs

Requirements

• Have a smart phone and the ability to use apps for work
• Reliable transportation to and from the work site on a weekly basis
• Manage information flow in a timely and accurate manner
• Detail-oriented
• Demonstrates ability to take initiative, anticipate needs and exercise independent/sound judgement
• Task-driven

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $750.00 per month

Expected hours: 8 – 10 per week

Experience:

• Maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
