The Club at Kalea Bay opened our doors in 2018. The community and The Club at Kalea Bay are currently in an ongoing development stage and will consist of five high-rise towers and approximately 600 membership families when complete. In 2023 we opened our doors to our brand new 14,000 square feet Wellness Center that provides over 6,500 square feet of equipment and private studio accommodations. The center offers state-of-the-art fitness equipment, a spin studio, a pilates studio, and private and group fitness instruction. Luxury locker rooms feature dry saunas and steam showers and adjoining relaxation and massage treatment rooms.
We seek a part-time (12-18 hours) Reception Desk Admin to join our wellness team. Under the general direction of the Lifestyle Director, the Wellness Reception Admin is responsible for maintaining the administrative organization and effectiveness of the Wellness Center by providing excellent customer service to our Residents and Guests; working on special projects as assigned. Dual opportunities exist for individuals who are certified spin instructors.
General Responsibilities:
- Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist them as necessary.
- Manage member and guest check-ins.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Provide information about, classes, services, and policies.
- Provide general support to trainers, therapist and instructors.
- Assist members with wellness center apps and be able to answer general questions on equipment use features.
- Keep the center and locker rooms stocked with necessary supplies.
- Provide tours of the center to members and guests.
- Resolve member issues in a professional and timely manner.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service or front desk experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficient in basic computer applications, such as MS Office.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Knowledge of basic gym operations and fitness services is desirable.
