This position provides leadership on a 24 hours/7 days per week basis, to the Long Term Care nursing care team in order to provide for the patients needs while under care in the facility, as well as to assess needs, care plan, implement and evaluate the residents nursing care needs. The LPN Unit Nurse Manager has the responsibility and accountability for the clinical and skilled nursing facility activities in order to provide quality resident care; responsible for the management of all staff and all equipment/materials; fosters a cooperative and collaborative relationship with the physicians; establishes and maintains good inter and intra departmental relationships.

Minimum or Preferred Qualifications
A.A.S. in Nursing, NYS Nursing License, 5-8 years of Long Term Care experience, including Charge Nurse experience. Highly developed interpersonal, assessment and communication skills. Must have the ability to accept responsibility and maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations.
