QC Inspector 1st Shift

• Inspect designed in-process, final or subsequent raw or processed material. grid, panel and other product on the floor or at various work stations primarily for dimensional characteristics, correct grid and panel assembly; proper bonding (adhesion) of materials and components, roll outs, blow outs, open corners, workmanship, finish, tolerances, use of correct sub part or component, proper assembly and other criteria.
• Check Insulation for light leaks, dirt, tucks, color and density match; skin for color and size match. Note reasons for part rejection and non-compliance to specifications. Check received aluminum beam materials for dimensions, hardness, tensile strength and other characteristics. Check machine and equipment setups prior to production runs and make periodic inspections thereafter.
• As required, make periodic inspections of items to be shipped. Complete all required documentation.

• As necessitated by workloads, (un)availability of personnel or other assignment perform designated other inspections or helper duties in the coating, trimming or press operations area(s).
• Prepare and/or maintain records of work performed or other data, reports as required. Maintain established quality and quantity standards. Detect and report improper operation(s), faulty equipment, defective materials and questionable conditions to supervision. Ensure work area(s) and equipment in a clean, orderly and safe condition, that prescribed safety measures are followed, that established company policies, rules and regulations are adhered to.
• Perform other duties as required or directed.

• Use of shop arithmetic, including decimals and fractions; simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, use of adjustable measuring instruments.
