JOB SUMMARY
The Business System Analyst’s primary focus will be on manufacturing processes and its continual improvement with ERP. The duties of an analyst include working with management and end users to gain an understanding of the current systems. They will oversee how each new requirement or piece of functionality fits into the overall business process. This role requires project management skills, IT infrastructure knowledge and vendor management.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or IT related field
- Two years of experience in a business systems analyst role
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite; programing skills are a plus.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- IT Management (IT Vendor management, Support operations & ERP Management).
- Requires level one IT support triage & managing support outcomes with IT vendor.
- IT infrastructure fundamentals (Understands Servers, Networking, and User Device Platforms).
- Project Management Skills (Manage vendors to complete outcomes & set priorities).
- Evaluate company systems and current processes.
- Compile objectives for improving and streamlining company procedures.
- Analyze company software (ERP) and hardware uses and needs.
- Develop procedures to improve existing systems.
- Plan and implement supportive business solutions.
- Document and create reports on systems effectiveness.
- Recommend new system developments.
- Analyze relevant data.
- Translate data for presentation to leadership.
- Enhance company business performance.
- Create a guide to system updates.
- Compile, write, and distribute system process specifications.

- Will perform some work outside of normal working hours.
