Role Overview
As an EMT/Physician Substitute, you will leverage your emergency medical training in a new and rewarding environment, playing a crucial role in the plasma collection process. Your primary responsibilities will include screening and assessing potential plasma donors, conducting physical exams, managing adverse reactions, and performing immunizations. You'll work closely with the Center Manager and Center Physician, utilizing your ability to stay calm under pressure and your commitment to following established safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct medical evaluations and physical exams.
- Assess donor eligibility and document vital signs.
- Provide immediate care during adverse reactions.
- Administer immunizations per SOPs.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure safety compliance.
- Collaborate with the Center Physician and Quality Manager.
- Participate in meetings and ongoing training.
- Keep EMT, CPR, and AED certifications current.
Qualifications
- EMT certification, CPR/AED certified
- High school diploma or GED
- Medical experience preferred
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Calm under pressure, proficient in data entry
