We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our ACS team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and weld components for industrial weighing systems and related equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety and technical standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver reliable, precise products to our customers.

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our ACS team in Charlotte, NC. In this role, you will fabricate, assemble, and weld components for industrial weighing systems and related equipment, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety and technical standards. You will work closely with production and engineering teams to deliver reliable, precise products to our customers.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Interprets blueprints, specifications, diagrams or schematics to determine appropriate welding process.
- Cut, fabricate, and weld metal parts to customer specifications
- Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
Required Skills/Abilities
- Manage time efficiently
- Attention to detail
- Must have a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a company vehicle on a daily basis
- Must be able to stand for the duration of an 8-10 hour shift.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be able to visually inspect completed work
- Must be able to respond to audio prompts
- Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers
- 1-2 years’ welding experience
- Ability to demonstrate proficiency in MIG, TIG, and stick welding is preferred.
