Overview

The Specialist, Partnership & Tenant Relations is responsible for managing and activating all commercial tenant and corporate partner relationships within the Power & Light District. This role ensures that all contractual obligations are fulfilled, activations are executed with excellence, and revenue opportunities are maximized through strategic relationship management, partnership fulfillment, and effective use of sales tools.

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Manage, implement, and track all existing tenant and partner relationships.
  • Build and manage relationships with day-to-day clientele as well as internal associates across all Power & Light District divisions.
  • Deliver the highest level of client service to ensure effective programs are created and executed.
  • Lead day-to-day communication with tenants and partners, including:
    • Leading weekly calls or in-person meetings (creating agendas and recap notes)
    • Addressing issues and providing proactive solutions to meet partner needs
    • Facilitating special requests as needed
  • Assist the B2B team on prospecting for new commercial retail tenants, including identifying points of contact and researching store locations.
  • Support B2B team with outreach, scheduling and planning prospect meetings and tours.
  • Oversee partner hospitality events, ensuring alignment with brand and program objectives.
  • Interface with internal departments on partner programs as needed.
  • Lead special projects as requested by Director/President.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
PARTNERSHIP FULFILLMENT

  • Manage, implement, and track all existing tenant and partners, ensuring all contractual obligations are fulfilled, activated, and reported for commercial retail tenants and corporate partners.
  • Ensure all onsite contract elements are fulfilled and that partner brands are represented professionally and accurately.
  • Oversee creative approval of all partner assets.
  • Understand each partner’s business cycle and objectives to develop custom go-to-market strategies each year.
  • Assist the Director in renewing applicable accounts and generating incremental organic revenue within the current partnership portfolio.
  • Develop a go-to-market event partnership strategy to increase revenue opportunities with existing events.
  • Prepare all materials relevant to proposals, renewals, and recaps.
  • Utilize tools to analyze visitor traffic data to support B2B revenue efforts, event marketing, planning, and recaps.
  • Work with national leasing and marketing teams on district visitation reports and event analysis.
  • Maintain fiscal responsibility for the day-to-day management of program budgets and ensure sponsor promotions are within budget.

MANAGEMENT OF SALES TOOLS

  • Utilize and maintain proficiency in sales and marketing tools including:
    • Salesforce – CRM management, pipeline tracking, and sales reporting.
    • Placer.ai – audience and visitor analytics to inform partnership and leasing strategy.
    • DigiDeck – proposal creation, renewals, and recaps.
  • Develop and maintain data-driven presentations, proposals, and recaps within these platforms.
  • Support prospecting and sales efforts by leveraging insights and analytics from sales tools.
  • Collaborate with B2B marketing team to ensure consistent data usage and reporting across tools.
Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong background in strategic brand and partnership marketing, with experience in entertainment sponsorships, promotions, events, media, and contracts.
  • Skilled relationship builder, fostering strong relationships with partners, tenants, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Driven, relentless, and self-motivated; able to push beyond expectations and thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Intellectually curious and creative problem-solver; able to think critically and innovatively to overcome challenges.
  • Superior organization, project management, and attention to detail; able to multi-task and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.

  • Strategic selling experience with the ability to identify opportunities, upsell, and generate revenue.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), social media platforms, Canva, and sales/marketing tools such as Salesforce, Placer.ai, DigiDeck, and related platforms.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related.
  • At least 4 years of experience in relationship management, or partnership marketing fulfillment (especially in sports/entertainment).
