KDHE is comprised of three divisions: Public Health, Environment, and Health Care Finance (which includes the State’s Medicaid program, KanCare). Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary:
Management Analyst (K0235270)- KEES experience, preferably ED<C experience is recommended. Must be able to prioritize work and be self-motivated. This position works with complex IT systems that support programs administered by different agencies, requiring collaboration across agencies. Interacts with all systems supporting eligibility including KEES and MMIS/KMMS.Evaluates system changes necessary to support medical assistance eligibility and eligibility for other programs within the integrated environment. Works with KEES, MMIS/KMMS staff and other agencies' staff to write change orders/change requests. Coordinates with system operations staff to resolve issues and complete necessary changes. Coordinates development and implementation of workarounds as needed. Assists in testing activities by reviewing test conditions and test scripts to ensure system solutions will generate accurate results.Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for incident/defect remediation and prioritization. Analyzes and obtains feedback from the business users, policy, and program staff in order to develop change orders impacting eligibility. Provides feedback to KDHE-DHCF leadership regarding resources necessary to complete change orders. Analyzes impacts of complex system changes on processes. In collaboration with internal and external business users, policy and program staff, other eligibility staff and project managers coordinates the implementation of the approved changes. Must have a comprehensive understanding of policy and system related rules.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
General program support. Provides input on policy and process decisions, participates in unit meetings, and resolves case-specific issues. Responds to questions from leadership and others. Provides input into troubleshooting and training. Assists in the Ad Hoc report process. This includes working with leadership or other groups to ensure the request is complete and accurate while providing system related knowledge to achieve desired results.

Qualifications
- Education:
- High School, GED
- Licensing & Certification:
- Valid Driver's License - Incumbent is required to have and maintain a valid driver's license when operating a state vehicle, a private vehicle, or a rental vehicle for the benefit of the State.
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Three years of experience in collecting, evaluating, studying, or reporting on statistical, economic, fiscal/budget, legislative or administrative data. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

- Bachelor’s Degree
