Job Description:
As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will deliver direct dental care and associated services to patients under the general supervision of a dentist. Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering quality and compassionate care to every patient
- Delivering direct patient care to patients, including scaling and prophylaxis, x-rays, application of sealants and fluoride, and related procedures, under the general supervision of a dentist
- Providing excellent customer service by looking for opportunities to offer Same Day Care
- Educating patients and parents in oral hygiene instruction
- Assessing the dental condition and needs of patients and reviewing patients' medical history
- Responsible for adhering to all government regulations and company standards
- Guiding parents and patients through our entire treatment process
- Assisting with dental and perio charting; when necessary
- Taking x-rays and saving into patient charts, when necessary
- Providing memorable patient experiences by showing compassion for our patients and parents
Our ideal candidate will be licensed as a Dental Hygienist in good standing, have CPR certification from the ARC or AHA, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary : $74,000 - $122,000
