Karat Packaging (Nasdaq symbol ‘KRT’) by Lollicup USA, Inc, headquartered in Chino, CA is the manufacturer of Karat® food disposable goods and TeaZone® beverage products, the distributor of other leading brands' coffee & tea ingredients, & specializes in custom print and innovative packaging. We have been recognized for our thermoforming plastic capabilities in North America to produce cups and food packaging products that allow us to offer competitive pricing throughout our distribution network (currently 6 regional warehouses are located in CA, HI, NJ, SC, TX, and WA), and services to chain accounts such as Panda Express, Flame Broiler, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, and more.
Job Duties
- Visually inspect products for damages or improper stacking or packaging
- Match product to Picking order using descriptions, item numbers, quantity and vendor numbers
- Audits orders for accuracy
- Accurately prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup as needed (palletize, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
- Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack & Standup)
- Complete Daily checker audit for tracking workload & identify pickers opportunities.
- Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations
- Report any issues or concerns to Shipping Supervisor
- Verify all weights are correct for each order checked and completed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse.
- Experience safely operating a forklift/Rider Pallet Jack
- Basic computer skills, data entry, etc.
- Ability to adhere to company health and safety regulations
- Basic math and recording abilities.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to Communicate both written and verbally.
- Attention to detail.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 55 plus pounds
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
COMPENSATION:
Starting at $15.00-$16.00/hour DOE Health/Dental/Vision & 401K benefits available after passing three-month probation period.
Job Type: Full-time
