We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer (PCB Design) to join our engineering team in Holyoke, MA. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems for embedded processor-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products from concept through to final production deployment.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design and development of multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs) and electronic systems for embedded processor-based applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to bring innovative products from concept through to final production deployment.
Responsibilities
- Design and finalize intricate multilayer PCB layouts for embedded processor-driven systems.
- Develop circuit architectures capable of managing high-speed signals (up to 500 MHz) and high-voltage applications (up to 5000 volts).
- Integrate STM32 series microcontrollers into custom hardware configurations.
- Oversee mechanical layout and ensure seamless integration of electronic boards into protective housings.
- Create detailed schematics and board layouts using Autodesk Fusion or comparable EDA tools.
- Collaborate with mechanical and production teams to take designs from prototype to full-scale production.
- Ensure designs meet performance, reliability, and manufacturability requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in PCB design and development for embedded systems.
- Proven expertise in:
- PCB design for embedded processors.
- High-speed and high-voltage circuit development.
- Integration of STM32 microcontrollers.
- Mechanical design and assembly of electronic devices.
- Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion or equivalent EDA software tools.
- Hands-on experience with Microchip PIC32 microcontrollers.
- Familiarity with LoRa wireless communication protocols.
- Ability to write and debug embedded C code for processor control.
- Knowledge of 3D modelling techniques for electronic enclosure integration.
