Publicity Assistant

Katalyst is hiring an entry level Publicity Assistant to join our team that brings a positive and eager energy to the agency, and is willing to learn. Must be a strong and creative writer, consume media and be up-to-date on trends and the news cycle, have great time management skills and an ability to prioritize, and speak eloquently and confidently.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• 1 year of previous PR agency work or internship experience is required.
• Great time management skills, ability to prioritize and switch tasks to meet deadlines.
• Excellent writing and communications skills, as well as knowledge of AP Style.
• Extremely organized and able to manage several clients and projects at once.
• Ability to think creatively and objectively, while seeing trends and drafting pitches.
• Must be a research maven as it relates to all aspects of PR.
• Must be a consumer of media in all forms. 
• A passion for culinary, travel and lifestyle clients.
• Must be active and engaged on social media and understand the landscape of influencers and brands cohesively.
