Dog Walker/K9 Fitness Coach
KB's K9 Fitness LLC is a locally owned/operated, insured and bonded, growing dog fitness business primarily located in Mechanicsville, Va. We also need help in Glen Allen, Ashland and the west end of Richmond.
Are you a dog lover? Do you enjoy outdoor fitness? Want to exercise with adorable dogs? We are looking for responsible, outgoing dog lovers who are willing to go the extra mile to keep our client's dogs safe, healthy and happy!
Responsibilities and duties:
- Provide professional, compassionate care for dogs
- Practice time management and keep to the schedule you are provided
- Safely travel across town to the homes of clients
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal — with the office and clients
- Professionally represent the company and treat clients respectfully
- Use your smartphone to track services and send updates to clients
Job requirements:
- You must have a working smartphone
- Have a valid driver's license
- Part-time position with possibility of going full time if interested
- Have reliable transportation
- You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience with and compassion for animals
- Comfortable around all types of dogs
- The ability to work in all kinds of weather
- Okay with walking long distances
- Have excellent time management skills and the ability to work autonomously
- Be able to pass a background check
- must be 21 or over
- Ideal candidate can make a long term commitment
