Are you a Commodity Manager who drives procurement excellence, fosters supplier relationships, and optimizes costs across global and domestic markets? If so, this newly created role is for you!

Reporting to the Director of Global Supply Chain, you will :

  • Develop and maintain partnerships withl suppliers
  • Monitor commodity markets
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms
  • Stay informed on global trade laws, tariffs, and currency fluctuations
  • Partner with quality teams to conduct supplier audits and drive continuous improvement.
  • Design and implement sourcing strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and drive innovatio
  • Leverage data to monitor supplier performance
  • Report on cost savings, strategic outcomes, and market trends

What you will bring :

  • Expertise in Global Sourcing with Asian suppliers
  • 5 years of experience in sourcing, supply chain, or commodity management
  • Manufacturing experience sourcing electrical components preferred. Automotive experience a plus
  • Bacehelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Supply Chain Management
  • Experience managing $20M-$30M in spend
  • Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills
  • Strategic and Analytical Skills
  • Deep understanding of global trade regulations
  • Familiarity with ERP systems
  • Exceptional Communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage projects successfully
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%-25% annually to strengthen global supplier partnerships
