ABOUT THE POSITION
The Healthcare Strategy Specialist is responsible for supporting the strategic development and growth of the organization by collaborating on various initiatives, driving data-driven decisions, and ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the healthcare system, as well as experience in policy research and grant management.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in ethnic studies, public health, health administration or a related field.
- Previous experience working with Asian Pacific populations and projects, or similar multicultural communities is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience with grant management and/or data analytics in healthcare.
- Ability to extract, analyze, and draw insights from the data in healthcare context.
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Advanced technical knowledge in Microsoft, including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and any additional programs as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
POSITION DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Monitor federal and state health policy, including legislation, regulations, and guidance.
- Analyze the impact of health policy on the community clinic and its patients.
- Support the development of grant proposals and strategic programs.
- Represent the organization at meetings and conferences.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that support the organization's mission and goals.
- Prepare reports and presentations on health policy issues and quality improvement efforts to staff and community stakeholders.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on the clinic's patients, programs, and services.
- Use data to identify and address health disparities and inequities.
- Collaborating with other departments to improve the clinic's data collection and analysis practices.
- Collaborate with other staff to develop and implement agency wide initiatives.
- Commitment to and skillset to operationalize social justice and health equity efforts.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as needed.
