Job Summary
The Program Facilitator - Employer Liaison/Career Navigator provides recruiting, retention, and intervention services for adult students, as well as project management for workforce initiatives. This includes Work and Learn programs and short-term credential programs. This position may require some evening and weekend responsibilities/work required.
Job Duties:
• Recruit students for work and learn and short-term credential programs, as well as other workforce development initiatives.
• Provide project management to Workforce Solutions projects with a particular focus on employer-sponsored programs. This includes work and learn programs and short-term credential programs.
• Serve as a Success Coach and manage student success activities to ensure career navigation, student retention, and intervention strategies are employed. This also includes overseeing the advising, mentoring, college and/or career transitioning efforts, particularly as designated within a specific program, project, or partnership. Provide a case management approach to guarantee student success.
• Perform all other WS duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree (Communication, Business, Social Sciences, Student Services, Educational Leadership, or related areas) and one (1) year related work experience or equivalent.

This position requires someone to provide ongoing success coaching to assist students in their educational and career journey. This includes identifying student needs, challenges and barriers; building rapport and trust with students to support successful program completion; serving as student mentor, advocate, and primary on-campus support; providing interventions and strategies to support students through a variety of academic and non-academic challenges; and supporting students in accessing on and off-campus resources. This position also provides project management to workforce initiatives and requires someone who can handle administrative responsibilities in addition to student recruiting and success coaching duties.
