What are the responsibilities and job description for the Track Kitchen Associate position at Keeneland Association Inc?
Become part of the team that serves breakfast and lunch to horsemen and Thoroughbred Racing lovers alike! Must be able to work Monday through Sundays, 5 am to 2 pm. Horse sales and race meets 5am-5pm
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves the line of customers as they pass through.
- Replaces empty bins of hot foods.
- Sends orders to the kitchen for preparation.
- Wipes tables and seats with cleaning cloths.
- Carries dirty dishes to kitchen.
- Sets tables with appropriate condiments.
- Customer service is a plus.
- Transportation needed
- Accountability and accuracy in reconciling sales receipts
- Oriented toward serving others and helping customers
- Customer-service skills
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Excellent verbal communication
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, stressful environment
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of point-of-sale systems.
Qualifications
- Must be able to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service to both patrons and other employees.
- One-year experience in serving cafeteria-style.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
A Kentucky Race Horsing Commission license is required for all track workers. Provided by Keeneland upon hired status.
