We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused bartender to join our dynamic team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional service to guests, ensuring seamless food and beverage delivery, and maintaining a high level of hospitality standards.

Duties
- Greet guests, take orders, and operate the point-of-sale system using LightSpeed POS.
- Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, and beer with knowledge of drink recipes and ingredients.
- Manage cash registers and maintain accurate records of sales and cash handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service, handling guest requests and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment during peak hours and high-volume events.
- Demonstrate knowledge of food industry standards and regulations, including proper food handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and plating styles.
- Upsell and promote sales of food and beverages, utilizing sales techniques to meet revenue targets.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and efficiently.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a fine dining restaurant or related food service environment.
- Proven knowledge of food handling and safety procedures.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in operating a cash register and point-of-sale system.
- Basic math skills to accurately handle cash and credit transactions.
- Knowledge of the food industry and its standards and regulations.
- Ability to lift and move equipment and supplies, as needed.
- Availability to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Pay: $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
