Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Performs preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems
- Repair and/or maintain hard surfaces, carpentry, plumbing, metal work, equipment including HVAC, mechanical and electrical systems
- Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance needs
- Maximize the reliability of assets by implementing proactive maintenance strategies
- Perform electrical and mechanical repairs on equipment in an efficient manner to decrease downtime
- Collaborate with members of maintenance and operations to improve an organization’s efficiency and daily operations of equipment
- Responds to customer requests

- Ability to communicate effectively to customer(s) and management
- Basic trouble-shooting skills
- Training skills (ability to provide clear and effective training on basic processes and safety)

- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

3 or more years building maintenance or related experience
