Dispatcher

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dispatcher to join our Service team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching our service technicians.

Responsibilities:

• Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
• Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional and friendly manner.
• Provide general administrative/clerical support to all departments as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
• Manage and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and packages.
• Schedule assigned technicians with planned maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Consult with Field Service Managers on all troubleshoot calls.
• Document accurate information in software system.
• Schedule according to best geographical location and technician certification.
• Support technicians for parts and tools for assigned work.
• Ensure scheduling goals are met.
• Respond to customer inquiries.
• Participate in “ON-CALL” rotation for dispatch.
• Maintains professional appearance.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in logistics, transportation, or a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Dispatcher or in a similar role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry
• Knowledge of transportation systems, dispatch software, and GPS tracking systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick decisions
• Proficient in using computer systems and software
