The Kelly® Professional & Industrial team is looking for a Warehouse Material Handler to join a growing client in North Charleston!
Job Title: Warehouse Material Handler
Pay Rate: $17hr - $19hr depending on experience.
Location: North Charleston, SC
Duration: Temp to Hire
Responsible for the efficient handling of warehouse inventory, including receiving, storing, selecting, packing, and distributing.
Responsibilities:
- Execute physical tasks necessary for the movement of inventory within the warehouse.
- Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, adhering to safety protocols.
- Receive and document deliveries, ensuring accuracy and noting any discrepancies.
- Store products correctly according to established procedures.
- Fulfill customer orders accurately and in compliance with standards.
- Assist in delivery duties as required, ensuring timely and satisfactory customer service.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting objects up to 70 pounds, standing, walking, bending, etc.
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
- Adaptability to warehouse environment conditions, including seasonal changes and varying temperatures.
- Compliance with safety protocols and use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
-Warehouse/Material Handler experience is required
- Valid driver's license required.
