JOB TITLE: Assembler

DEPARTMENT: Assembly / Mounting

REPORTS TO: Production Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Responsible for mechanical assembly and mounting of electrical equipment. Use instructions, drawings, layouts, BOMS and wiring diagrams to perform work.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports
  • Accurately follow layout dimensioning and specifications when applicable
  • Physical mounting of components with appropriate hardware
  • Complete other duties, as assigned by the supervisor

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or 1-3 years wiring experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision, be proactive and possess strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Must be able to work well in a team environment
  • Must be able to read, write and follow instructions
  • Attention to detail and good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Continually required to stand, walk, squat, bend, read, talk and hear
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
  • Required to climb ladder or step stool

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
